The Intimate Rejuvenation and Innovative Surgery Center (I.R.I.S.)

Dr. Starkey founded the Intimate Rejuvenation and Innovative Surgery Center (I.R.I.S.) in an effort to assist patients in understanding how advances in minimally invasive surgical techniques could provide safer and more reliable options to traditional surgery. As part of that mission she received further advanced training body Laser liposculpturing and in Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation and Designer Laser Vaginoplasty. These new and exciting body contouring and rejuvenation procedures provide our patients with the opportunity to eliminate difficult fatty areas, to correct functional problems that prevent a healthy sex life and improve self image. The newly formed Intimate Rejuvenation and Innovative Surgery Center along with the Intimate Rejuvenation and Innovative Surgery Center is proud to finally empower our patients with knowledge, choice, and alternatives.

Dr Karen A. Starkey M.D. FACOG-Board Certified

Dr. Starkey received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at the University of British Columbia, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the Queen's University in Canada. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Western Ontario's Faculty of London, Ontario and did her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology through the University of Western Ontario. She is Board Certified in Canada and in the United States.

Dr. Starkey has received advanced trained in Novasure and Thermachoice Endometrial Ablation, no incision Essure tubal ligation, Vaser Lipo-Select liposuction, Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation, Laser Reduction Labioplasty, and Laser Hymenoplasty.
